FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ark. (KNWA) – The 5th Judicial District Drug Task Force in Pope County arrested two adults in Charleston, according to a Facebook post by the 12th / 21st District Drug Task (DTF).
DTF seized 16 firearms, drug paraphernalia, proceeds of drug sales, and 5,132 THC vape cartridges, according to the post.
Retail value for THC vape cartridges is $80.00, the post states.
37-year-old Joshua Featherstone and 51-year-old David Gattis were booked into the Franklin County Jail for possession with purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, according to the post.
The DTF works with all area law enforcement agencies in an effort to reduce or eradicate drug trafficking in local communities.
This task force is a combination of investigators from the Greenwood and Fort Smith Police Departments, Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office, 12th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, and the 21st Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
